Q: I am not exactly located where you are. Do you travel?

Q: I would not exactly call myself a pro at posing. Can I still work with you?
Q: Okay, I booked my photo shoot! How do I prepare?
Q: Can I receive a consultation before actually booking a shoot?
Q: After my session, where do I find my gallery?
Q: I heard you are moving to Virginia. Can I still book a session if I am in North Carolina?
A: Hello, there! I am Mikayla -- the face behind the camera. I love love doing what I do not only because I love being able to produce beautiful photos but also because I love loving people. I am a psychology major, photographer, and Jesus lover. I like to check off all of the boxes when it comes to careers. I am also a middle school small group leader at my church. I have been told that I am very eclectic and passionate, so I am going to take that as a compliment. I tell a lot of dad jokes and do little jigs every time I am excited.
A: I am so glad you are here and that you are interested in booking a session with me. You can contact me through my contact page, and I will walk you through your next steps. I promise I won't make it complicated.
A: Good question! I try to be adament about replying to your messages ASAP. I know how important communication and your time is, and my goal is to respect that. Typically, I will send out a response within 48 hours.
A: That is totally okay! I love traveling to where you are! It is so much fun for me to go new places and for me to see a place that holds dear to your heart. My travel fees start when a location is 60+ miles from my base location. I charge the standard of $0.54/per mile after that 60 mile radius.
A: I am so glad you asked. Besides receiving beautiful images, you are paying for time for consultation, traveling to and fro, taking photos, editing/culling, creative planning, and storage of images.
I am passionate about what I do, and I want to do everything to my best ability to deliver a beautiful gallery as well as give you a wonderful experience.
Currently, I do not accept Paypal and primarily accept credit/debit card.
A: If you are looking for cookie cutter and awkward poses, I'm not your photographer. Don't worry about being a professional model or being awkward at posing. Just show up! Just be you, even if that is crazy and awkward. I am right there with you. I can definitely help you find the most flattering positions and love capturing the in-between shots that are less pose and more natural, thus creating the authenticy my brand strives to capture.
A: Yay! I am so stoked to create a beautiful gallery for you. We are going to have such a fun time! I will definitely be in contact with you consistently, because I want to make sure that YOU get the best out of your session. The day before, make sure to check the weather. Plan your outfit around that, because I am sure you don't want to be in shorts and a tank top when it is sleeting out (if that's you, more power to ya). If you need make up and hair done, The Cabana in downtown Sanford offers 10% off of any of their services to my clients.
A: Yes, of course! I would be glad to sit down with you. I would be glad to answer any questions, walk you through the booking process, and hear your ideas.
A: You rocked that shoot! My turnaround time is 3-7 days. After I have finished going through and doing the final edits of your session, I will email you a link to your online gallery through Pixiset. You will receive a special PIN number that will easily allow you to download your gallery to your computer or phone.
A: Yes! My family is in North Carolina, so I will be back and forth from Lynchburg to the RDU area.
